When I met my current boyfriend a year and a half ago I NEVER suspected that he was dealing with drug addiction. It wasn't until two months in to dating that he was arrested and sent to jail. He then quit working, became depressed, flunked the last semester of his junior year in college and moved home. I was his biggest support sytem and would have done anything for him. I refused to watch him lose everything he worked so hard for, even though his scholarship to the university was gone, I couldn't watch him lose himself. After a year in and out of court rooms and attorney meetings he was given 16 months probation, community service & NA/AA meetings. We've been off and on for over a year and each day I'm on alert just waiting for a sign that he's using again. I wish he knew how much I love him & want to spend my life with him.
